Day Wise Breakup
Day 1: Trivandrum – Kovalam: On arrival at Trivandrum, our representative will recieve you at the airport. Transfer to the hotel in Kovalam. Afternoon sightseeing of Trivandrum, including Padhmanabha Swamy temple, Museum, Horse Palace, Art Gallery. Evening free at Kovalam Beach, followed by overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 2: Kovalam – Kumarakom: After breakfast, depart for Kumarakom. On arrival, hotel check-in. Later visit to the near by bird sanctuary for bird watching. Return to the hotel for lunch. Afternoon free for leisure. In the evening, enjoy a sunset cruise. Return to the hotel for dinner, followed by O/N stay.
Day 3: Kumarakom House Boat: Today, you’ll be transferred to the Houseboat. Spend the day cruising on a traditional Kerala Houseboat. Watch the local farmers irrigating farmland below sea level.Evening you ‘ll be anchored along the lake side. O/N stay.
Day 4: Kumarakom – Thekkady: Transfers to Thekkady & check in to Hotel Taj Garden Retreat. Afternoon we explore the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary which spreads over 777 sq km, roughly half of which is dense evergreen forest, savannah grassland and moist deciduous forest. O/N stay at the hotel.
Day 5: Thekkady – Cochin: After breakfast, transfer to Cochin and later hotel check-in. Afternoon depart for a sightseeing city tour of Cochin – Fort Cochin, spice markets, antique shopping, Synagogue and chinese fishing nets. Return to the hotel for lunch. Evening at leisure, followed by O/N stay.
Day 6: Departure: After breakfast, transfer to the nearest airport/station for your onward journey.

Day Wise Breakup
Day 1 : Arrival at Cochin – Arrival at Cochin airport, meet & greet and later transfer to Taj Malabar Hotel. After lunch enjoy the city tour of Cochin, which includes the Jewish Synagogue, Mattancherry Palace, and Chinese Fishing Nets etc. Overnight at Taj Malabar.
Day 2 : Depart to Thekkady – Morning after breakfast proceed to Thekkady, following a journey through spectacular countryside. Arrive in the hill-station of Periyar. Check in to your Taj Garden Retreat hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at Taj Garden Retreat Thekkady.
Day 3 : Thekkady (Periyar) – In the morning you can enjoy a boat ride in the Periyar lake- an artificial lake, at Thekkady. Here the high ranges of the Western Ghats are clothed in dense evergreen, moist deciduous forests and savannah grasslands. Below this thick green canopy roam herds of elephants, sambars, tigers, gaurs, lion tailed macaques and Nilgiri langurs. Overnight stay at Taj Garden Retreat Thekkady.
Day 4 : Transfer to Kumarakom – Morning after breakfast proceed to Kumarakom. The backwater houses a variety of species of both
fauna and flora. They are rich with marine life namely the exclusive ‘Kumarakom Karimeen’ (pearl spotted fish), Konju (tiger prawns), Njandu (crabs), Chemeen (prawns) and many more. Overnight at Taj Garden Retreat Kumarakom.
Day 5: Transfer to Varkala – Morning after breakfast proceed to Varkala, a seaside tourist resort.Varkala is also an important pilgrimage center. The final resting place of Sree Narayana Guru, the great social reformer of Kerala, is near Varkala atop a hill named Sivagiri. Overnight at Taj Garden Retreat Varkala.
Day 6: Varkala – The whole day for your leisure, enjoy the golden sandy beach or experience an ayurvedic massage (optional). Overnight at the hotel.
Day 7: Depart to Home – Morning transfer to the airport for departure flight/train.
