Day Wise Breakup

DAY 1 Delhi/Kolkata – Guwahati: On arrival in Guwahati, you will be assisted and transfered to the hotel. Later in the afternoon, visit the famous Kamakhaya Temple and Navagraha Temple. In the evening, you can take a boat ride in India’s largest river, the Brahmaputra. Also pay a visit to Srimantha Sankardeva Kalakshetra, Assam’s biggest art complex. O/N stay at the hotel.
DAY 2 Guwahati – Shillong: In the morning, undertake a 100-kms road journey to Shillong. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel. Reserve a visit to the Rock Gardens for the evening. O/N hotel stay.

DAY 3 Shillong-Cherapunjee-Mawsynram-Shillong: From Shillong, a full day excursion to Cherapunjee and Mawsynram. The former has a number of amazing limestone caves some of which are yet unexplored. DAY 9 – Majuli Island – Jorhat – Dibrugarh: Next on your itinerary is a drive to Dibrugarh via Jorhat. Hotel check-in followed by O/N stay.
DAY 10 – Dibrugarh: This morning, drive to Rukmini Island. This beach island is located in Vidarbha, a mythological place in the midst of River Brahmaputra, and around 11 kms from Dibrugarh. Rukmini has amazing sand beaches, crystal blue waters, and hordes of migratory birds. The sunrise and sunset look splendid from here, as do the majestic Himalayan ranges. Return to Dibrugarh for O/N stay.
